Latest site update - 28/02/18 (see update history at bottom of page)
Welcome to the
web site of the Lacock Art Group.
We are a vibrant group of local
artists who come together to advance as well as enjoy, our art. Along with
meeting each week to paint together, we have a full and varied programme that we like all members to participate in - the programme includes demonstrations, drawing sessions, exhibitions and the occasional fun art competition.
On the separate
pages of this web site you will find details of our Group- what we do, when we meet and our current
programme including details of forthcoming exhibitions and demonstrations. More details of our meetings, fees etc can be seen on the Members Handbook page.
like to welcome new members however, the Group is very popular and sometimes we have to close the membership list - to see the present status of membership in the Group please see the Becoming a Member page and/or use
the contact e-mail via the 'Contact the Society' page of this website.
The Gallery contains examples of some of our members' work which we hope you
will find interesting. Members of the society are invited to submit their work
for inclusion in the Gallery to the web administrator (Steve Oram) whose details you will find on the Members Handbook page.

23 December 2017. Lacock Hay Wain competition.
This year's fun competition attracted 19 attempts at recreating Constable's 'The Hay Wain' in Lacock ford. All the paintings were displayed anonymously at the Christmas Party on 14 December 2017 and there was a great array of effort.
Members voted for their favourite and there was a clear winner - well done Linda (no 24).
In 2nd place was Keith (who wasn't there that night) with no 3.

Some members also took the opportunity to sketch amongst the wealth of magnificent architecture available in the city. We were especially pleased to be joined by our friend Mary Tuck (see if you can spot her in the photos). Many thanks to Stephen for his time and effort in organising the outing.
